Mountain Biking Director | Mountain Biking Instructor

Mountain Biking Director, Camp High Rocks, Cedar Mountain, NC

Camp High Rocks, a private boys camp in Western North Carolina, has instructor openings for it's summer mountain biking program. Instructors should have experience with mountain biking, teaching and maintenance, and related outdoor skills. A good portion of our biking trips utilize the trails in DuPont State Forest (adjacent to our property), Pisgah National Forest, though we do also venture into the Tsali area of the Nantahala National Forest. We have over 1100 acres of trails on camp as well as the above forest facilities.
Mountain Biking instructor jobs at Camp High Rocks
Responsibilities: Direct 4-5 mountain biking instructors. Instruct mountain biking skills, safety aspects, and appropriate use of bikes in the woods. Lead biking trips on and off camp property including overnights.

Qualifications: At least 21 years of age or rising college sophomore. Experience leading Mountain Biking program.

Benefits: From $320 to $450 for the nine week season and one week of orientation, depending on experience and qualifications. Room, board and laundry are included. Training courses available in late May.

Qualifications: At least 19 years of age or rising college sophomore, mountain bike experience.

Benefits: From $250 to $400 per week for the nine week season, depending on experience and qualifications. Room, board and laundry are included. Training courses available in late May.
