Swimming Director | Swimming Instructors

Swimming Director, Camp High Rocks, Cedar Mountain, NC

Camp High Rocks, a private boys camp in Western North Carolina, has male and female instructor openings for it's summer swimming program. Director should hold WSI and/or Lifeguarding certification, have experience teaching swimming . Focus of program is improving strokes and endurance, not competitive swimming.

Swimming Instructor Jobs at Camp High RocksResponsibilities: Direct a staff of two to three instructors and lifeguards. Instruct swimming lessons for all levels on our 12 acre lake. Lead trips to Sliding Rock or river tubing trips. Male applicants may be a cabin counselor for group of 6 boys. Female applicants would have additional responsibilities other than a cabin counselor.

Qualifications: At least 21 years of age or rising college sophomore. WSI and/or Lifeguarding certification required. Instructor trainer certifications preferred.

Benefits: From $290 to $420 per week for the nine week season and one week of orientation, depending on experience and qualifications. Room, board, and laundry are included.

Dates: May 26- August 9, 2008
