Fishing Instructor

Love to fish? Teach your passion.

Our program focuses on the entire aspect of the sport including habitat, knots, pole setup, casting, landing, releasing, and other fishing techniques and methods. Instruction will be provided through a series of techniques including cane pole, spin cast, bait cast, and some fly fishing methods. Staff will lead campers through a progression of skills on our eleven acre lake.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fishing instructors oversee hour long lessons.
  • Participants work through a progression of skills that will provide for successful fishing adventures.
  • Male applicants would also serve as a cabin counselor for a group of 5-7 boys.
  • Female applicants would have additional program duties in place of cabin coverage.

Qualifications

At least 19 years of age or rising college sophomore. Applicants should have a strong interest in working with children as well as experience with fishing techniques and methods. Applicants who possess knowledge in multiple methods and instruction experience desired.
