Hard to believe but 2013 is here! It began a little cold and rainy here on the mountain, but High Rocks alum seem to have found some excellent ways to welcome the new year. Reports from the beaches in Florida, the hills of San Francisco, medieval streets in Prague, and snow-buried Colorado all have campers and counselors joining slightly different ways to celebrate the change. All seem to involve lots of fireworks though, which means some well-trained technicians come this summer’s 4th of July!
Though it feels like nothing but winter at the moment, now that we are beginning 2013 the summer feels much closer. We are working hard to get everything ready for this year’s group of campers and are excited to see new and old faces in a matter of months. From all of us on Cedar Mountain, best wishes for the new year and stay in touch!
