Dearly Beloved…

Zach and Blaire tied the knot!  Family, friends, and plenty of High Rocks folks came in from miles around to witness the union of Brevard’s newest power couple this past Saturday.  A veritable army of helpers swept into Camp on Friday to make the wedding transformation complete, and a full-force hurricane of fun kept blowing until everything was packed up and put away on Sunday.

As far as the main event goes, the weather was perfect, the ceremony was beautiful, and the BBQ made by David Williams was delicious.  The bride and groom were wed on the Cabin Field by our very own Woody Noland—who knew that among Woody’s many accreditations and accolades that he is also ordained?  After dinner in the Dining Hall the reception was made complete with everyone’s favorite Saturday night camp activity: a square dance.

Just as heartwarming as the actual ceremony was seeing the group that Zach and Blaire drew together to share in their day.   Family of the bride and groom, friends from Greenville and Alabama, and the camp crowd coalesced and became part of the new Nichols family.  We wish Zach and Blaire a fantastic “mini-moon” in Gatlinburg this week, and could not be more excited for them as they take this next step in their life together.  To infinity and beyond!

It was a fabulous perfectly orchestrated wedding envisioned and carried out by two very special people. The love was overflowing. Happy to be included.
