A Ph.D. teaching English and Linguistics at UNC-Wilmington, Dan is spending his 44th summer at High Rocks. A brother-in-law to Townsend, Dan has been an integral part of shaping camp’s philosophy and activities over the years. Campers and staff alike appreciate his warmth, humor, and wonderful campfire stories. He knows the woods around us, so campers and staff should get him to share his knowledge of the flora and fauna they encounter on hikes and walks around camp.
