Mountain Living!

Today’s Pictures

What a fantastic Monday at camp!  It started pretty early for some of the climbers.  They were on the road by 7:00am for a three-day climbing adventure. Before breakfast, there was also another caving trip heading out the door.  A great way to start the week!

It was another warm a sunny day at camp!  The boys are still going strong in all of their activities while enjoying some great time together for choice period and free time.

This afternoon the ladies of Keystone Camp also came over for some fun mixed games of soccer and tennis!  The heat was hitting pretty hard by then, but it wasn’t anything some ice cold lemonade couldn’t cut.  The guys and girls had a great time!

Our last “Chill Night” of the session headed out tonight.  The youngest four week age group and our Mini Ii guys both enjoyed a few runs down sliding rock and some tasty Dolly’s ice cream afterward.

I was lucky enough to join a small group of guys on an evening ride over to Dupont to ride on slick rock trails the whole time.  There is a unique section of DuPont called Cedar Rock and Big Rock.  As you make your way up the trail, the entire thing turns into nothing but granite.  You ride on solid rock the whole time.  it is one of the most beautiful rides in the country!  I sure did enjoy my time with those guys.

It’s hard to believe we have just a few days left at camp. It is going to be a great few days.  The cool mountain rain is just starting outside.  What a great way to go to sleep! Life is best on the mountain!

have a great night,

Don
