Challenge Course Facilitator Position

Camp High Rocks, has instructor openings for its High Ropes Course facility. Our course consists of 18 high elements at 25 and 45 feet. Participants use the CliC-iT belay system throughout the course. Staff will lead campers through ground school, processing, and debriefing the experience.

Responsibilities: Challenge course facilitators to help cabin groups through the course, team building, processing, and initiatives. Male applicants would also serve as a cabin counselor for a group of 5-7 boys. Female applicants would have additional program duties in place of cabin coverage. 

Qualifications: At least 19 years of age or rising college sophomore. Applicants should have experience with challenge course facilitation. Candidates with more extensive leadership, processing, and rescue skills are desirable. Onsite certification is required in late May.

Benefits: Starting range from $325 to $400 per week for the nine-week season, depending on experience and qualifications. Other training courses available in late May.
