Camp High Rocks has an opening for its Climbing Tower Manager position. Manager must have experience teaching rock climbing, managing staff, and in all safety practices related to a top-rope climbing wall environment.
Camp High Rocks sits at an elevation of 3000 feet in the midst of 1000 acres of camp-owned mountain woodland, with an 11 acre lake, and miles of hiking and biking trails. Founded in 1958, High Rocks is dedicated to providing a caring, challenging, and noncompetitive outdoor experience for boys. Campers come from around the United States; many return year after year for the wide range of activities offered and for the supportive environment they find here.
Responsibilities: The manager’s primary responsibility involves the daily operation of the climbing tower. This includes implementing safety practices, training and mentoring a staff of 8, helping create lesson plans, and teaching skills to children.

Qualifications: Applicants for manager position must have completed at least one year of college and have significant experience in a climbing environment. High Rocks can offer specific training and certifications as needed.
