Take On A Leadership Role

Instructors should be experienced in open boats, kayaks, and C-1s. Rivers we paddle include the Chattooga, Nantahala, Tuckaseegee, French Broad, Green, and Pigeon. Experience on these rivers is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Instruct canoeing in a safe and fun manner on our 11-acre lake and on river trips.
  • Male applicants would also be cabin counselors for 5-7 boys, ages 7-16. 
  • Female applicants would have additional program duties in place of cabin coverage.

Qualifications

At least 19 years of age or rising college sophomore with a strong interest in teaching children. Previous whitewater paddling experience preferred.

Benefits
