The Ultimate Labor Day Family Tradition
Escape screens and schedules this Labor Day weekend. Join us at Camp High Rocks for a long weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains designed to bring your family closer together. Whether you’re scaling the climbing wall, paddling across our private lake, or sharing stories around the campfire, this is where lifelong memories are made.
“It is a great chance for your kids to see what summer camp is like and for the parents to get to know the staff, environment, and type of people at High Rocks. It is a great test run of the camp. It is also a fun, nostalgic trip if you went to any camp – it brought back lots of memories!”

Is your son ready for his first summer at High Rocks? Family Camp is the best “test drive” available. It allows prospective campers to find their “home away from home” while you are right by their side. He’ll get to meet directors and enthusiastic staff, sleep in a cabin, learn the layout of camp, and try out multiple activities.
Finally, enjoy the places you’ve heard about in letters from camp. Let your son be the guide, watch him show you how to “ring the bell,” navigate the dining hall traditions, and captain a canoe. It’s your chance to step into his world and see the confidence he’s built firsthand.
Discover all the ways your family can play, relax, and connect. From Kids Club adventures and Adult-Only activities to lakeside lounging, we have it all.

Family camp was awesome and surpassed our expectations. It was so special for our family to have uninterrupted, intentional time together. With kids schedules these days, it is rare to carve out time like that and family camp was a very special experience and one that created some great memories for our family.
